I`ve been busy with a lot of events recently and that kind of explains why my blog is super dead, but not to worry I`m finally free from all the events and I can enjoy my holidays. So my CCA recently had a combined BBQ with the Champions Club on the 11th Dec. I can`t explained how busy we were before the actual BBQ started. We had to plan the logistics need, F&B, games and more. We purposely had this BBQ so we could have a stronger bond between the Champions Club. For those who don`t really know what a Champions Club is, you can read my previous post to get more idea of the clubs.
I`m just gonna try and make this post short (but I know it won`t), and so we finally got the stuff ready for the BBQ. First off, we had the bonding session to get everyone to know each other and of course afterwards they played some ice breaking games to have fun and get everyone together. While they were playing the ice breaking games, some of us had to go up to the garden (?) to help and set up the BBQ pit and start the fire before the event ends. All I can say that it was super messy like literally messy, we were running around the place and getting the foods ready but while setting up the BBQ pit it started raining heavily and we had to shift the stuff to the shelter so it won`t ruin the foods. While moving the BBQ pits and food, we were drenched in the rain as if we just had a shower. By the time we finished moving the BBQ pits, I was shivering as it was cold and of course I was drenched in the rain. Thank goodness there was an extra shirt in our SC room. Afterwards we continue with the BBQ and eventually the BBQ ended with a success.
On the 13th Dec we had another BBQ with our alumni`s at Clementi. It was nervous for me as there will be a total of five different batches of Student Council and I was scared that it`ll be awkward between all of us since I`m an awkward person to begin with. Nevertheless when we arrived there, I was quite surprised that all five batches were able to communicate with each other and knowing one another a bit better. All of them were interesting especially when we played some ice breaking games, and not to mention that they are SUPER friendly. The best part was that we were able to eat a lot of food ! We went all out for the food even though I know someone told me not to eat too much hahhaa.
Moving on to the next event which is today, my CCA decided to have an outing to Sentosa since a lot of us are not well bonded yet with one another. First stop was the TrickEye Museum, all of us were excited since none of us has actually been there but as we were there I was quite disappointed with the museum as there was not a lot of things in there even though the purpose of the museum was to experience the artistic of 4D (?) art. I was able to take some pictures in there but since there was not a lot of things to look out or even take pictures, I eventually went out first from the museum. Overall I would give a 4/10 rates but it was a good experience to see those arts in there. I would highly recommend this place for those who loves to take pictures especially with the 4D(?) effects.
After lunch we head down to the beach to play some games and get to know more each other during the process, but the sky decided to rain heavily even before we could settle down with our stuff. Despite the rain, that didn`t stop us from playing our ice breaking games. Out of the three games that I had in mind, we were able to play only two of them. With everyone`s co-operation the games went smoothly even though it was a short time. I actually felt disappointed in myself as I wasn`t able to come up with good games and I didn`t really think that it went well since it was raining but seeing my sc mates having a lot of fun I was able to forget about that disappointment.
That`s roughly what had happened for the past week, there are still some upcoming events that I`m currently working on but no worries I will surely update my blog more often once I`m free.
