Today was a big day for me as I was nominated for gold star service award by my class adviser. I was not sure why or how I got nominated for this award but I appreciate and was thankful to my CA for nominating me in this star service award. For those who don`t really what star service award is, basically it`s for students who have been serving the school with good academics or services thus getting recognized by their own CA and the school and having the potential to earn this award. I couldn't  express how happy I was back there, having to stand and walk across the stage and constantly having this butterfly feeling in your stomach.

After the ceremony I had pledge training with my student council mates, I didn`t join in as I was having a bad muscle ache in my body which was very hard for me to move around. I wasn`t the only one who didn`t join in the training, my old time secondary school friend decided to join me and so we started to talk about our life and also our problems. Now, we used to be enemies back in secondary school days but somehow with our similar problems and our understanding towards each other`s problems we were able to hit it off just like that. This is where I realized that we can`t really stay as enemies for long cause we wouldn`t know that one day we would be friends again. I was glad that I was able to have a good conversation with her after the training and having to share my problems. Thanks to her too for being my listening ear and also for supporting me even though we used to hate each other. Finally I was able to let things out from my chest and a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

Thanks to her and also my seniors for listening to my problems and loads of nonsense and also accept me for who I really am.
