Hm... I don`t even know what I should be posting here. It`s been quite awhile since I visit my blog and update it with posts. Have been busy with school, exams, work and even competitions. Competition you say? Yes competition. A few of my friends and I was selected by our own class advisor to compete in competition with a few other schools. Let me say this, when our CA selected us it was kind of a last minute kind of thing which actually on that very all of us has our own things to do after school but because of this competition we had to cancel our appointments and attend a 4 week training session for us to prepare for the actual day of the competition.
So we did went for the training, where we had to gather all of our ideas and put it in Microsoft Powerpoint for the judges to see. I forgot to mention that this competition is actually called Tourism Innovation Competition, it`s where students get to experience in improving tourism industry and how to motivate guests/tourists in participating in a more greener environment in hotel industry. This years theme was quite a handful task as we had to do quite a few research and it took us almost a month to just finish the slides and also the panel board decoration.
Somehow during the process of making the slides, we showed our teacher in charge and ask about their opinion on our ideas and as you can see they don`t really support our ideas even though we took their advise. I mean they just seem to reject us and don`t even bother to motivate us but every path always have an obstacle and so we did overcome that and we won a medal and certificate on the actual day of the competition. Sometimes it`s best not to ask people of their opinion, you just need alot of confident and just show it and do it cause no one is perfect and it doesn`t matter how pretty your ideas look like cause at the end of the win or lose your efforts are there so just be proud of it. That`s one of the things that we learned through this competition.
Lastly we would like to thanked our very own CA who has been the only one motivating us and have not given up on us even though we said that we are bad at things especially for competitions, you have given us an opportunity and we were glad that we didn`t give up and still overcome this obstacles.
