Fasting Month

This post was supposed to be posted last Wednesday and because of some work that I had to do it was delayed and I apologized. Anyway as you all know (or maybe some of you) it is the month of Ramadhan and this is where all the Muslims in the world will require to fast for one whole month without eating or drinking till break-fasting at around 7pm at night. This is an exercise or rather a test of patience, we have to be patient with everything that is happening around us during this one month an examples of being patient is to control our anger, control our lust , control our greed and also our actions and this also applies to vulgarities. There are two ( might be more but for now I knew only this few reasons) reasons why we Muslims fast during Ramadhan.

It is interesting how non-Muslims decided to try out and fast with us, it is a good exercise where you can control your diet and also it helps our body to function well not to mention throw away all the bad waste that it`s in our body. However it is rather nice to see non-Muslims trying out this exercise with us ☺

The part that we hated most is waking up for sahur for those who don`t know what sahur is, it is where Muslims will wake up at dawn (around 4.30 am) to have our early breakfast so that we won`t get hungry when we fast one whole day. We will have to stop eating our sahur at around (5.00-5.30 depends on the Azan Subuh).

The best part has yet to come, which is Hari Raya Puasa !! Hari Raya Puasa is where all the Muslims celebrates the end of fasting month and also this is where we get to eat all the delicious food that our dear mothers cook like Rendang, Ketupat, Sambal Goreng and more ! What more can we ask for right? After the long term of fasting of course we would go back to eating our meals as usual.

Last but not least is where we celebrate our Hari Raya by visiting our relatives and share the joy together as a family, this is where all the children`s comes in. Children`s or teens that are not working will be getting a small token from their elderly or families that are older than them and also who are already working. Celebrating this two events is rather exciting and also a way for us to strengthen our mindset and also fulfill our quests on being a good Muslim.

That is all for today, to all the Muslims out there SELAMAT BERPUASA!!
